If you think that you will retire wealthy with the help of a cash value life insurance, unfortunately it is just a myth. The truth is that cash value life insurance could be your worst financial investment. Unfortunately, more than 70% of the life insurance policies being sold recently are cash value policies wherein insurance and savings are packaged as one.
If you can get away with it, investing your money in life insurance should not be an option because you will be getting a horrible return of investments. Definitely your insurance agent will show and promise you catchy projections. But in their real world, all of those policies will not deliver as projected.
